why do i love extremes so much?
just now i'm thinking, in a fairly rational state of being, thinking without any pressure, stress, over-riding sense of futility, etc... that what i want to do when i get back is work every day for the rest of my life.
does that make sense? like literally, everyday. i also want to "go out" EVERY NIGHT when i get back. etc, etc.
what is bizarre is that i recognize the foolishness of this in other areas. Like going to gym - you need to start slow. manageable weights. day of rest. take care of your body. etc, etc.
but for some reason my whole psyche loves extremes... loves the idea that i can live by decree. and that when i am called to account for my time, that i can answer in absolutes.
like the guy who says "everyday i'm going to do 100 pushups to get in shape!" and that's retarded. but the absoluteness... is golden.
thoughts, thoughts, thoughts. bon vive.

ha. that pushup guy was me remember? and I dont know if it was the pushups, but that was the happiest time of my life. the friends surrounding me may have had something to do with it. that extremes deal is a good sign dude. it means you have energy pent up. for what? we'll see. and that's the beauty of it.
