didn't sleep at all last night. evidently my body hasn't quite gotten used to the new gig. i started counting from one to a hundred, and each number tried to take a step down into sleepy darkness... at one point, i was clearly inside a pyramid and trying to make a getaway.
my thoughts don't make a lot of sense right now. traveling is always supposed to bring great realizations, but for me it's more that the traveling lifestyle / sensory-input is so much more interesting and enlivening that it's merely better, not more enlightened.
i met a guy who moved her six months ago to teach english. everyone wants english teachers. he feels like a god. makes good money (saves around 1000 a month), and gets to live like a king. in a very polluted city. but there's also a lot of bullshit among expats... everyone's running from something, even halfway across the world.
can't love your kids if you don't love yourself. because they are going to be at least half of you, and the sins of the father in this case will also and forever be visited upon the son. so you better be at peace before one of those "babies" shows up.
need to email some people about couchsurfing. train leaves in an hour and a half. but wanted the blog to have something new on it. is the road rising?

oof, hit the nail on the head, second to last para. glad you're doing this webpage, you are now an undeniably formidable rival in the field of insight. is the road rising to meet me? you know? it kind of is. March 7th my body started to do things that were good for it without any prompting from the inner parent. I always loved the advent of spring. time to shed this fat, for starters.
